"In like a lion, out like a lamb," or so it goes, right?
So far, for us it seems much the reverse. "In like a lamb..." It's 67 degrees and on its way to 70. The sun is shining and only a few clouds in the sky. Now it will be only 52 degrees for the high tomorrow, but for now, it almost seems like it's spring.
So unnatural. I'm not sure I like it, but here we are.
"In like a lamb, out like a lion."
That seems a bit more appropriate for the season of Lent. More appropriate for a March where the beginning of Lent has preceded it at the end of February and where the first of April will bring the celebration of Easter. Reflective of the transition from Jesus going to his death as a quiet lamb, and overcoming death as a roaring lion."He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth." Isaiah 53:7
